Virginia Scuba Plate Challenge

BEAT Carolina and WIN

Explorer Venture will award a FREE Trip for TWO aboard the Caribbean Explorer I to the state who first reached 350 License plate applications.  "We are happy to support this effort to raise the awareness of scuba diving in these two great states." said Clay McCordell, owner of Explorer Ventures <web site>

This trip will be awarded by drawing among the applications submitted in the state that is the first to reach 350 applications.

In-State Challenges

   Lake Rawlings, Rawlings, VA - Errol Duplessis says, "We challenge all Virginia SCUBA divers to support diving and sport the new dive license plates." 

Two Ways to WIN

(1)  Any diver who completes the scuba plate application, and submits it to Lake Rawlings with the proper payment on or before February 1, 2006, will receive two admission tickets (value $36.00) and two complimentary air fills (value $10.00 to dive at Lake Rawlings; or,

2006 Polar Bear Plunge Special - January 8

(2) Any diver who completes the scuba plate application, and submits it to Lake Rawlings with the proper payment, and participates in our January 8, 2006 Polar Bear Plunge, they will receive a Weekend Diver Package (value $50.00) and one 10-air fill punch card (value $40.00). Blue Ridge Region

    SeaDevil Divers, Charlottesville, VA - "We challenge every dive club in the state to sign up more divers than us." challenges Lisa O'Connor. - FREE Boat Ticket on any Virginia based dive boat to any region who gets 100 applications before we do and another FREE Boat ticket drawn in the Blue Ridge Region when we get to 100. BEAT Carolina and GO DIVING!

     Kathy's Scuba, Harrisonburg, VA - Calling all area divers.   Get on Board!  "Submit your license plate application with your check through us.  We'll forward it on and send you a $25 gift certificate.  Let's make this happen!" - Paul and Kathy Clancey

Piedmont Region

   The Dive Shop, Richmond, VA - Jim McNeal says "The Piedmont region will produce more applications than any other region, because we're the Heart of Diving in Virginia!" - FREE Recreation Specialty to be drawn in the Piedmont Region when we get to 350 statewide.

   Adventure Dive and Snorkel, Richmond, VA - "You bet we're the Heart of diving in Virginia and we'll get to 100 applications before any other region", touts Mike Barnett.  FREE Nitrox Class drawn when we get to 100 application in the Piedmont region.

   Wreck Master Divers, Virginia Beach, VA  - "For anyone who brings in their completed application and check to Wreck Master Divers from now till Dec 23, we will give that person a $20 gift Card!" - John Conway
